New York, NY, –(BUSINESS WIRE) – September 5, 2019. Capital Counsel LLC, an independent investment advisor based in New York City, has been awarded seven Top Guns distinctions by Informa Financial Intelligence’s PSN manager database, North America’s longest-running database of investment managers.
Capital Counsel manages concentrated portfolios of large‐cap and mid‐cap companies based in the U.S., or with large U.S. operations. The Belle Meade Associates LP (BMA) composite consists of limited partnerships. The Capital Counsel Concentrated (CCC) composite combines separately managed accounts into a single composite. Both composites have the same equity strategy.

The Bull & Bear Master Top Gun was awarded to BMA as the number one US Equity Commingled Fund (rolling 3-year period). BMA was also recognized as a Top Gun in the 1-Star (quarter), 2-Star (1-year) and 3-Star (3 years) categories, meaning that BMA ranked among the top ten performers, based on returns. The US Equity Commingled Funds Universe consists of 55 firms and 157 products. The Capital Counsel Concentrated (CCC)composite received three Top Gun awards including top ten recognition in the Bull & Bear Masters category for the Large Cap Equity and US Equity Universes. CCC was also recognized in the 1-Star (quarter) category in the Large Cap Equity Universe, meaning that CCC ranked among the top performers, based on returns, in that universe. The Large Cap Equity Universe consists of 481 firms and 1,054 products. The US Equity Universe consists of 823 firms and 2909 products. All awards are for the period ending June 30, 2019.
