Lauren Blum has over 24 years of investment experience. Before joining Capital Counsel in 1999, Lauren worked as a Senior Scientist at Environmental Defense Fund, a national advocacy group where she participated in voluntary cooperative partnerships with large U.S. corporations. Before that, she was an Associate in the Energy and Chemicals Group at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where she focused on the pharmaceutical industry. Lauren received an AB from Harvard University, a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
